Lomonosov Boarding School, the first private school in Moscow district of Ramenskoye, is well-known and respected in many regions of the Russian Federation and its neighboring countries. Pupils arrive at our school from Moscow and its suburbs, from Siberia and the Far East, from the Urals, northern, southern and central Russia.

In 2024, Lomonosov Boarding School entered the ranking of the TOP 35 best private schools in Moscow and the Moscow region for the third time in a row according to Forbes Education magazine. In total, more than 300 private schools took part in the ranking.

School Headmistress Marina Moiseevna Korenkova set up this school and has become the leader of the community of teachers, pupils and parents.

Lomonosov Day

The remarkable school tradition Lomonosov Day is held in November to commemorate the birthday of Mikhail Lomonosov. It is some kind of intellectual marathon. The pupils of primary and secondary school form teams to compete with each other in knowledge of various subjects and different skills. This holiday unites pupils of different ages and creates the atmosphere of friendship and support.

School Scientific Society “Leader”

School Scientific Society “Leader” specializes in project work of our pupils in different subjects: literature and art, history and native land studies, drama and floriculture, Russian and foreign languages. The pupils present their projects at the conference held at the end of every school year.

Students aged 10-11 years old are accepted for boarding school education. We offer the children comfortable 2- and 3-bed rooms to stay in. The furniture in the rooms is designed so that each child has his own wardrobe, a bed with a high mattress, a desk with a chair and a table lamp where he can do homework and read. On the floor there are toilets, showers, a recreation area for board games, meetings.

Our schoolchildren are offered different optional sport activities such as tennis, swimming, football etc., they also are able to attend dance, art and music clubs.

The programme of preparing a child for school represents a complicated and integrated process that demands special conditions. Enthusiastic and caring staff and experts being the top priority for us to ensure peace of mind for everyone.

At Lomonosov Pre-Junior school children are constantly attended and supervised by qualified teachers, psychologists and speech-therapists.

In pre-junior school our little pupils obtain their first knowledge of the English language and culture.

School. Teaching at Lomonosov boarding-school provides individual support and help to every student. Forming and development of individuality able to successful participation in cross-cultural communication is our main purpose.

Our educational programmes give children the opportunity to reveal themselves in reading and writing, mathematics and languages. Special course of developing their intellectual abilities is also provided. We start teaching English using state-run programmes specified by providing individual help, support and tuition, tailored to the age and needs of each child within the classroom.

For language education teachers use Russian student’s books as well as international ones – Academy Stars and Gateway. These courses have already received international recognition and earned the love of Russian teachers. The successful combination of traditional and advanced techniques, the author's approach to teaching grammar and developing reading skills and modern digital solutions guarantees successful results for every child in learning English.

Our children spend the other half of the day attending Sport and Art&Crafts self-improving activities on the campus.

Our high school offers its students profiled educational courses considering their personal abilities and interests. The senior pupils have the opportunity to attend a special training course to be well prepared for the State Exam (ЕГЭ) on different subjects.

Specialized training is organized in high schools, taking into account the interests, inclinations and abilities of high school students. Summer Camp

Lomonosov Intellectual Wellness Complex offers excellent holidays for children. ‘LIK’ is a unique leisure and educational project where it is interesting and exciting for children and the work with children is done professionally at the top level!

Every day in the camp is organized according to the schedule. Children have English classes, hiking trips, daily oxygen cocktails, cycling classes, laser tag, archery, electronic shooting range, sightseeing trips and much more.

Admission to school

There is no competitive selection at the school. For admission to grades 2-9, tests are conducted in Russian, Mathematics, English and an interview with a psychologist to determine the level of assimilation of these subjects and the coincidence of curricula. Based on the results of this testing and interview, a proposal for the provision of services is formed.

Testing can take place both in person and online.
